The Propstone Team

Becky Youdan

Becky has been working in the Leeds property market for over 18 years, having qualified as a building surveyor in 2005. She made the move to property management in 2012 to work in Retail Management at JLL for a number of REITS. Following a move to a smaller practice Becky gained a broad range of experience, managing a wide variety of office, industrial and retail properties, primarily for high net worth individuals.

Chris Gilman

Chris, is a chartered surveyor who has worked in Leeds since 1988. The first 10 years were spent working for PLC’s in advisory roles, after which Chris made the move to the property development sector where he has been actively involved ever since. During this time he has been responsible for numerous commercial and residential developments across the north of England.

Outside of a busy work and family life helping to raise three children, sport is his other great passion. Although more time these days is spent either coaching or watching, he still actively participates in golf, tennis and skiing and the social interaction that these demand. Always optimistic, he remains convinced there is a sport out there where he could represent GB at the Olympics.

Andrew Crowther

Andrew is a chartered surveyor with over 25 years of working in the commercial property sector, to cover office, retail, leisure, industrial and healthcare. He has worked ‘in-house’ on client side development and investment management, but the majority of his career he has acted in a private consultancy role for a range of property companies, funds and property individuals.

He is married with two children and, outside the office, endeavours to fill his time being actively involved with family, friends, travel, sport, the outdoor life and real ale (but not necessarily in that order!).

Kirsty Helliwell

Kirsty has extensive experience in residential and commercial property management having previously worked for Allsops and The Liv Group.

Chris Booth

Chris became a chartered surveyor in 1997. With a first class honours degree in building surveying, he has worked for and directed a number of prominent commercial practices throughout his career advising on property acquisitions and a range of diverse property developments across all sectors. He has acted for several funds and a range of local property companies and local and national developers.

Outside of work, since hanging up the rugby boots, Chris has failed in his attempt to play at Wimbledon. With his Bradley Wiggins-like build, he occasionally turns over the pedals on a weekend as long as there is a beer waiting at the end. All other spare time is taken up playing racketball and playing second fiddle to his partner and daughter.
